Despite Zucchero's frequent touring over the last three
decades, surprisingly little live material has been
released. Only Live at the Kremlin (from 1991) and ZU &
Co - Live at the Royal Albert Hall (from 2004) have seen
the light, and while both are great testaments to the type
of live performances Zucchero is capable of, neither
represents a "real" Zucchero show.

Live in Italy is here to set this wrong right. With 2 cds
and 2 dvds filled with hits and rarities - with over 39
different songs in total - recorded during three concerts
held in the Arena of Verona in 2007 and the one-off
show in San Siro Stadium in Milan in 2008, this collection
should be a happy recollection for those who had the joy
of seeing Zucchero and his band perform during the
FLY and All the Best tours of 2007 and 2008, and a
pleasant introduction for those who have missed out on
a Zucchero live experience so far.

Backed by a stellar band, featuring David Sancious
(keyboards), Polo Jones (bass), Kat Dyson (guitars,
vocals), Mario Schiliro (guitars) and Adriano Molinari,
joined by Sarah Grimaldi (vocals) and a horn section
comprised of James Thompson, Massimo Greco, Beppe
Caruso and Eric Daniel, on this live boxset Zucchero
performs his greatest hits as well as songs that have
never been performed live before. On top of that, this
collection contains four new songs: Hi De Ho, a regular
on the All The Best tour setlist, Una Carezza, Oro e
Blues and Sympathy.
