U2 frontman Bono will be one of the artists appearing next to Luciano Pavarotti at this years Pavarotti and Friends on may 27 in Modena, Italy. The show will be broadcasted live on RAI 1.

A live album might be on the way! In a Vivendi Universal financial report Zucchero is listed as one of the top artists releasing new material in the 2nd halve of 2003, noted next to Zucch´s name is ´(live)´, since the other artists named in the list (Ryan Adams, U2, Sting) are indeed planning on releasing albums this year it might actually happen :-D.

From March 17 a special album called "Gaïa" will be on sale. The album, a charity event, features 350 world artists and 20 guests including Australian band Midnight Oil, (former) Fleetwood Mac members Mick Fleetwood and Jeremy Spencer, Moody Blues member Justin Hayward, Billy Preston (who worked with Clapton on his latest live album), several Supertramp members. Zucchero is also one of the artists working on the album and he recorded a duet with singer Anggun called World (you can listen to a sample of the song on the radio Capital playlist). Solomon Burke to appear on Portretta Soul
March 03, 2003

Soul legend and recent Grammy winner (by the way his first ever, how´s that for a disgrace!) Solomon Burke will be one of the artists to appear on this years version of the Portretta Soul Festival (in, surprise! :-D, Portretta). Not really Zucchero related, even though Zucchero has apperead as a special guest on the festival and Burke will pay tribute to Rufus Thomas who was, as most of us know, a good friend of Zucch, but if you´re in the area July 5th I´d suggest you go check it out!
